Betreff: When and where the USB Host Cable for Ideapad K1 comes out?

Mine did not come with a Host USB cable either. Only a USB transfer cable.

Mine did not come with the USB host cable either (purchased in USA).  The packing list says it's "optional" whatever that implies.

ETA:  does anyone know if a gender changer on the data line male USB connector would work?

Has anyone had any luck locating a host cable? I called Lenovo supoort today and they told me there is no part number for the cable so it can't be ordered.

Ditto on how to order one and from who with part number.  Lenovo sales says they don't sell them and they should be readily available outside Lenovo, but I can't find one.

per Lenovo sales, this cable will be able for sale in the US on December 20.

I tried to order the USB host cable today, to no avail. But at least today the rep was able to tell me that the problem is the part hasn't been released yet. Bit of a pain that the manual shows a part that's not available but at least the rep knows about it this time and had a reasonable explanation. That's progress.

someone have an alternative to make it work today? have sometype a link or part number, wire diagram or something?

I not sure if someone says that his tablet comes with a cable and put a usb disk, how can lenovo says that it nos available yet?
