When and where the USB Host Cable for Ideapad K1 comes out?

It is still not listed on the Lenovo website. Anyway, I'd take that "Dec 20" date from "Lenovo Sales" with a grain of salt.

That would depend on whether the 30-pin connector for the Galaxy Tab is compatible with the Lenovo K1.  At first glance I would say that's a long shot, but I don't have any idea, really.  Anyone know?

No, that's a micro usb to usb adapter. There is no micro usb port on the K1 (at least there isn't one on mine).

Exactly; the small port on the K1 is a micro hdmi port! The host usb will have a proprietary K1 plug on one end and a female usb on the other. Lenovo had no d*** business releasing the unit without one!
