When and where the USB Host Cable for Ideapad K1 comes out?

I tried it, and it didn't work.  For one thing, if the K1 is acting as a host, it needs to supply +5vdc to whatever is plugged in.  It does not. (with the USB "guest" cable that is.)

I need to USB host cable.  It is December 27th.  Does anyone know if there are any cable you can buy that will work?

I only got one usb cable, with a male end on it and a power cable. Please let me know if the usb cable that has a female end on it has a part number. Lenovo has told me that it does not exist! Have you been able to connect any usb devices to your K1, such as a thumb drive?

I know this host cable is cheaper, but any stand alone bluetooth keyboard and mouse will work. I've use the A300 keyboard and mouse on it and works pretty good.

You say that, "this host cable is cheaper" but you did not identify "this cable". What identification does the cable have? What is it for/from? Where did yo get it? What cost and part number?

I didn't buy nor receive one, but 2 users at the beginning of this thread claimed to have received it with the K1 and the other claims he got Lenovo to send it to them.

As far as we all know, there is no part number available. And no place online to order it at the moment.

Thank you. I am new to this blog business and thought you were the one that claims to have one. As far as I am concerned, Lenovo had no business releasing the unit without one!
