When and where the USB Host Cable for Ideapad K1 comes out?

The ship date on my order (placed 3/29) has been moved AGAIN.  Original ship date was 4/16.  On 4/16 it was changed to 5/1.  Today, it is showing 5/15.

  Mine just got bumped --again-- to 5/16 (didn't specify a year) as well.  Ordered on 3/30, and ship date has been bumped a couple of times since then.

Unbelievably pathetic and incompetent customer service.  Evidently Lenovo, as IBM's OEM supplier, was sheltered from the customer / enduser for far too long.  By the time they do learn, it will  probably be too late.

Hope it gets here before the K1's end-of-life.  Oh, wait...

I'm in canada and I tried purchasing it by shipping it to my friends PO Box in Vermount. Unfortunately neither Lenovo or Provantage allowed me to ship the cable to a POBox. So as of now I waiting for the slim chance they start selling these cables in Canada.

Lenovo screwed the pooch on this one. They put a proprietary port on the K1 and they do not even have enough stock to supply this host cable worldwide. I cannot begin to state how disappointed I am in the after purchase support for my tablet.

Try compsource they will ship to Canada, but Lenovo keeps changing ship dates soooooooo about the time Lenovo starts selling there new tablet freeing up some of there workers we may be allowed to get the cables. If you don't live anywhere they don't like.

 BY the way how many of us are going to buy this new tablet ??? ( beware it may have no power supply, optional accessories )

How do ou guys know the date is bumped? Are they emailing you, or are you calling them? When I check the link to my order from my conformation email it is the same (5/8). Though , I was told when I ordered it on the phone it would be shipped on 4/12. This is ridiculous. Will I get it sooner if I call Provantage?
