how i flashed from Canadian version to US and upgraded to Android 3.2.1

Thanks for this bit of info.  I did it and now it works like a charm.  It seems that the last update for Canada actually changes the firmware to the US version and that is why when you go to the download site there is no longer any Canadian versions after 3.1.

Only thing is I think there are still a lot of k1 out there that will never get this update because the OTA for Canada does not work.

What is your current build number as seen in settings/about tablet?

Are you sure you are completely powered off and doing a cold boot?

If it does not work, you should still have update.zip and update.xml in your download folder on the K1 as these two files will disappear after the update process.

It is too bad that LENOVO does not fix the OTA for canada because lots of Canadian K1's are stuck using 3.1 and not getting any new fixes.

1 )I have downloaded the to files and put into dowload folder

2) rename the files to update.zip and update.xml

3) power Off

4) Power ON holding the volume +/-

5) I can see booting Kernel Image and after an Android with an Exclamation and a yellow triangle

and do nothing....

I have this Model

Model: K1

Android Version : 3.1

Kernel : 2.6.36.3

Build : K1_A301_02_02_110930_CA

It sounds like it does not like something in the two files you placed there. I would try deleting the files on the K1, then download the two K1_A301_10_10_CAfiles from Lenovo site to PC again, rename, then transfer to K1 and try again.
