k1: taking the k1 out of the region where it was bought. what will exactly to my system update?

What will happened to my k1 let say hypothetically i bing a k1 whivh was bought in singapore or dg version and bring it to US? Will it still update using the sg verdion updates? Or wil use the US version and only God knows what will happen? Or will not update or do a manual update?

Well it would only update to SG versions. As for it detecting US apps in the Market I have no Idea.

Yes, right. I bought mine in us and brought it back in france. The system remains _US.
I remember a post where somebody told how is system gone from canadian to us...may be with a manual update.

Correct. Doesn't matter where you bought the hardware, once the rom is changed to another country, you can continue to load roms/updates from the same country moving forward.

In the majority of cases this will work, but if a hardware revision for your device is different than what the rom you are installing supports, there is a small chance you might lose some functionlity. Rare, but a small chance for this certainly.
