k1 wifi sometimes does not reconnect

Hello all

I know that i am not the only one with this issue

If my tablet is on sleep for too long, i will lose the wifi signal. I got the unit yesterday and im on 3.1

Is there a fix for this? I know that all i have to do is turn wifi on and off, but it is kind of annoying.

Does not matter on what wifi policy im on

I'm not saying for sure that this will fix your problem, but there were some WiFi fixes/improvements between 3.1 and the latest 3.2.1 release for the K1.  Any time now, you should be getting an automatic notfication of the upgrade availability and the option to accept the OTA update to 3.2.1.  Or, you can go into your Settings menu to the About Tablet->System Updates selection, and manually have it check for the update to the latest version.  Then see if the problem still occurs.

I almost always have this problem after rebooting (i.e., powering off and then powering on), rather than after waking from sleep. When this happens, I usually have to go into the Settings and tap the Wi-Fi enable box and only then will it connect to my Wi-Fi router. It's been doing this with Android version 3.2.1 for months now. My Wi-Fi disconnect policy is set to "Never when plugged in", but since I rarely reboot with it plugged in, perhaps this behavior is by design (I'm not complaining, just providing info in case it helps).
