As I mentioned in another post, if you start having forced closes or any other abnormal behaviour on your tablet or phone etc. shut it down completly and start it again. If that does not help go to settings and open up the applications box, and then open up "Manage applications". Choose "Running" and look at the applicatiions that are using the most memory. some of them are necessary, but others are not. If you see an application running that you never use, go back to "All" and delete the offending application. This should free up more memory, making your tablet more stable.... Hope this helps....

Are you brushing against the hardware button / optical sensor with your sleeve? Are you in bright light and casting a momentary shadow over it?
I've had both of these happen to me.

I agree, that button on the right is useless and annoying. The slightest touch and it goes back to home. I do it all the time too.
EDIT: Correction. It has one good feature and only one. Hold it for a screen shot. Why make it another home button?

Yes, and most people don't realize that you don't even need to touch it. There's an optical sensor inside it that can be triggered by a passing shadow in the right light.
No way to adjust sensitivity or turn it off in Settings either.

Best feature of this tablet is that screenshot capabiilty. Definitely agree with that.
Crashing could be ROM or hardware. I tried everything up to KHanning's ICS 4.0.3 (which rebooted in browsing internet from any browser)... still kudos to KHanning for releasing that - impressive feat just by iself. But stock 3.2.1 was the solution to get stability back. Then turned K1 over to wife as google/email/skype tool.
i wanted to turn the K1 into this sleek ultralight portable computer. That is NEVER happening.
K1 got replaced 3 weeks ago by an AO7222-0609 for less. Sometimes I take the wrong path, and this was one of those times. Current solution is 150% satisfaction.
Good luck - hope you get a happy solution...
