According to Lenovo, XP Home has a conflict with the built in camera of some S10 and they have a Bison patch to solve it.
I already downloaded the bison update and realtek audio driver. Still it didnt work!
I checked the audio folder. No audio device found! What could be the problem? Checked the Device manager only bluetooth related devices were found.
Please help. Ty!

Have you tried reinstalling the audio from drive D:? i.e. D: > Drivers > Audio > Setup.exe
Dunno about the videocam; maybe try to troubleshoot from the Device Manager.

brilami,
Here is the link to the S10 support site with all applicable drivers.
You should be able to download theRealtek audio driver from that page.
Best regards,

I had the same problem except the cam was working. Someone said there was a conflict between the audio and webcam. I disabled the webcam, then downloaded the Realtek Audio drivers and installed them. Rebooted and the audio worked. Then, I re-enabled the webcam and they both work now. Very proud of myself. Hehehe
