I wanted to boot my LiveCD Ubuntu from an SDHC card but to my disappointment the BIOS doesn't seem to recognize the card reader at all, even though my card reader works fine in Windows 7. I really wish Lenovo could come up with a BIOS update to support card reader booting.

I do Have exactly the same issue, but I can add that using an external usb card reader, all the bays are seen and in boot menut one can select the bay.
When will a bios update available?
