Ideapad s205 power management software problem

Hi,

I have an ideapad S205 with E450 CPU. Everything is fine, except that power management software "forgets" the setting to save the battery (not to charge fully). After while, it sets back to "maximum runtime" setting. This happens with Windows 7 32 and 64bit systems. How could this be fixed? Thanks

Apologies this isn't a solution, but I have just bought an Ideapad S205 & have the same problem. It's very frustrating as it seems to take ages to calibrate. I have tried contacting tech support,but they don't seem to understand the issue....The software version on the download page seems to be an older version of the program I have installed, so i'm reluctant to install it. I guess just remove the power lead when it gets to 50% charged?
