Killed my 1KR again

Damnit, I spent so much time on getting the hard drive reflashed.

1KR still boots, and the information in the 1KR drive still seems to be there, but when I boot 1KR, it hangs for a while, then drops me into an MS-DOS prompt screen under Windows RE.

Any idea what went wrong?

I deleted the LenovoPart partition in order to install Arch, and the bootloader is now Grub.

Re: Killed my 1KR again

hey Inst,

the partition which you have deleted is meant for the One Key Recovery.

i believe that the OKR is trying to locate it but since it can't be found, it hangs.

Re: Killed my 1KR again

Are you sure?

The LENOVO partition usually contains drivers for the laptop in general and doesn't necessarily contain key 1KR files.

The back-up files for 1Kr are still on the drive; if I mount OEM with Linux or with tools, I can see the back-up files. The only issue is that 1KR can't access them as I've modified the master boot record and it now can't locate its files.
