Hello Guys im thinking about to buy a Lenovo s205 with a E 450 Cpu, does anyone know if the Mainboard accept 1600mhz Ram? I heard the E450 support  more then 1333

Re: Lenovo s205 Question

Hello,

According to your hardware maintenance manual for the s205, the standard RAM is DDR3-1066 (Dual Channel Supported), SODIMM socket x 2 (max 4GB per slot).

The newegg memory finder does not show an option (from Crucial) for the 1600MHZ RAM you are looking for:

See here

The Crucial memory finder also does not show the 1600MHZ as an option either. I always buy from Crucial because they guarantee compatibility based on their recommendations. See here.

My advice is to stay with the guaranteed RAM.

Good luck!

Hi doodlez,

the E450 is the first, which runs the memory at 1333MHz, whereas the E350 (and lower APU's) runs at 1066MHz only. That's basically the biggest advantage of the E450 vs E350.
