I'm not sure about the larger screen - there could be discussion around a rumored S12 model which I've seen discussed on some other sites and that is purported to have a larger screen but is not the S10-2. I'll have to look into drive options.
I did have an opportunity to look at the S10-2 next to a regular S10 and thought I share a few photos I snapped. I'll apologize in advance that I don't have a good eye for photographic composition...
One of the features of the S10-2 is the wider keyboard and larger shift and enter keys, and resized / repositioned cursor keys...

S10-2 Keyboard

The keyboard is wider and more than 80% the size of a normal notebook keyboard. The margins to the edge of the chassis were maintained so the unit had to grow slightly in width, but not so much that you'd notice if you weren't looking for it, at least not in my opinion.
S10 (top) and S10-2 (bottom)

Side profile - can see reduction in thickness (S10 shown with 6 cell, S10-2 with 3 cell)

Side by side comparison - S10-2 on the left, S10 on the right

Inside the 2 covers on the bottom of S10-2

There are a number of changes between the systems - while hard to tell in the picture above, the S10-2 has a gloss finish on the display, while the S10 had a matte finish. The S10-2 has 3 USB ports, 1 on left side, 2 on the right while the S10 only had 2.
Ethernet and mic / headphone jacks move to the left side. On the bottom, there are now 2 covers, separate ones for HDD and Memory. Below the HDD in the photo are two slots, one for the existing Wifi card, and the other unpopulated at present - I believe the forthcoming 3G option card will occupy this slot.

I guess what I meant to say is that I read (again on lilliputing's product database
http://products.liliputing.com/products/?id=516 )
that the S10-2 was available with an optional 1280 x 720 pixel display.

I got my S10-2, but how do I enable the mobile broadband feature? thanks!
Unfortunately, they haven't begun selling the model with embedded 3G (mobile broadband) yet. I also almost ordered one, and in fact a representative told me it had embedded 3, but I called again since I didn't see it in the specs and learned definitively that it does not yet have this option. There's a discussion of this in the first few posts of this thread. You may want to return what you bought and wait for the right one to come out, although I don't know when that model will be released (I would think sometime this or next month).
Mark - any idea when the 3G version of the S10-2 will be available for purchase?

Thanks.
My pc has the physical mob bb card slot, which got me confused...

Can we get an estimate on when this will arrive in Canada? I would need one before September.
Also wondering if this netbook would be good for a student.
