S10-2 Camera

The S10 -2 has a camera, which is fine if you like a camera.  Does anybody know how to disable it permanently.  If you uninstall the programme or disable it, it reinstalls itself on the next reboot, and there is no signal to say wether it is working or not.  Short of a nail into the lens, is there an electronic solution?

electrical ...short answer no ..

but there is no reason why to do that , you did not save a minute battery consumption or something else...

black  adhesive tape is simple to cover cam ...

long answer ,you could open up the base cover (lost warranty if there is still in), pull the small cam plug which is plugged on board  .. Sorry but could not provide a manual or pictures how to.

you can disable device under device management. ( right click my computer > manage > device management )
