S10-3t Auto Rotate Screen

I got the S10-3t a couple days ago and notice that it says that it has Gravitation Adjusting? The problem is it never auto rotates when I put it in Tablet mode and hold it in portrait mode. It only switches the screen oneway when I put it in tablet mode. Is everyone the same? or does it work when you have it in tablet mode and hold it in portrait and switches automatically without pressing the screen rotate button on the screen?

Hi, see in other S10-3t ink thread you did install W7 Ultimate... there is a new BIOS 20 &  Lenovo Screen Rotation  in the driver section for S10-3t ...download and install ...

think that could help you

Bios Update 20 for S10-3t :

1. Updated audio codec verb table.

2. Fixed: Memory corruption during S3 resume.

3. Fixed: Boot sequence changed when rebooting through system preload

Re: S10-3t Auto Rotate Screen

It comes with the driver preloaded, just has to be enabled.

Go to Start>Programs>Lenovo>Lenono Screen Rotation>Screen Rotation Settings

Enable it in there. Hope this helps.

Re: S10-3t Auto Rotate Screen

Thanks Kelvin for the links. I did update both and the screen rotation still doesn't work. If I have it in laptop mode with keyboard and then switch to tablet it rotates the oppsite way, but from the sticker that is on the side of the S10-3t it shows and says "Gravitation Adjusting" and shows that you can go from landscape to portrait view by just holding the tablet in your hand without having to use the button. Any ideas? Thanks for all your help.

jajo:

great!  i checked the auto on my settings and now it works perfectly.  no need to press the rotation button.  its like accelerometer or something.  anyway i tilt the device, the screen follows in just 1-2 seconds.   great!

share more tips and tricks for the s10-3t jajo!

Re: S10-3t Auto Rotate Screen

I did the upgrades but the rotation screen button doesn't work neither in normal and tablet pc modes.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Any ideas?

Re: S10-3t Auto Rotate Screen

I followed the instructions above but the netbook does not respond to the auto-rotate or to the rotate button, I just simply can't turn the screen, any suggestion?
