Re: S10 BIOS 94 available

Okay, it seems no improvement on fan turning on/off frequently.

Hope future version is better!

Re: S10 BIOS 94 available

BIOS 94 works fine with my S10 4333-A12 after updating from BIOS 88.

The fan is as quiet as under BIOS 88.

Re: S10 BIOS 94 available

On my S10-4231 with BIOS 67, when I execute 14cn94ww.exe, it issues a popup that says:

'The NTVDM has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:0546 IP:0233 OP:63 6f 74 65  Choose "Close" to terminate the application.'

Any suggestions?

Alan

Re: S10 BIOS 94 available

Hi, My Corporate Customer bought this Lenovo S10 (4333-2TU) Netbook for their network testing with different Operator SIMs (3G/HSPA Wireless Connectivity). We have one problem with one Particular SIM, where the connection is inter-mitent, especially after enable/disable this Wireless Connection. It seems to lost connection with the Network and always "Searching for the Network/Signal". The signal strength should not be a problem (or rule this out). The Lenovo S10 still have the BIOS ver 88, with XP Home. - Any idea if this kind of issue could be related to BIOS? - Has anyone faced this issue (relate to 3G/HSPA Wireless Connectivity)? Thanks inadvanced.

Re: S10 BIOS 94 available

Summary of changes

Version 14CN94WW
Note: This release cannot be reverted back to older versions of BIOS.

Anyone tried if this is for real?

I'm quite happy with bios 57 for my S10e (4187-5LG) and hesitate to do anything that prevents me from going back to this known good state of the computer.
