S10 not downloading Windows Updates

Hi,

I have an S10 that is not dowloading windows updates and is also flickering between programs. On start up it beeps continuously. I am not sure that they are related issues. Any advice? 

Should I update the BIOS? How do I do that?

could caused by a memory failure...

remove and try with a different mem stick..

before you try to BIOS update i prefer to recover your machine...to exclude windows failure or virus/malware or something else...

It is a continuous repeating beep on startup.

Not only is it continuous beeping on startup but it also does not download Windows Updates and when trying to use any menu options there is a constant scrolling through the menu options which does not permit me to do much of anything. Any thoughts?

try to disable antivirus for microsoft updates.
