Hi, is there a possibility to diable the 4GB SSD that is soldered on the motherboard ? I've got a problem with a linux installation after additionally installing a 2,5" SSD (thread in linux section) and i'd like to try installation without the internal ssd.
Regards, pepun.

Hmm..updated to Bios 66 some days ago, unfortunately, there's no bios option like that.
Read the version description of BIOS 66, where Lenovo writes:
(new) Support for disabling onboard SSD by manufacturing tool.
OK, so where do i find this tool - and may I re-enable the disk ?

Hi
I read Bios Release Note for 14CN66WW:
2. Support onboard SSD disable function
- no mention of a tool though
I also would be interested in "how to disable/enable the 4GB onboard SSD" on my 4068-46G
Does your BIOS Information page list both - SSD and SATA drive ?

Yes, both of them are listed on the "BIOS" - "Information" Page.
The "manufacturing tool" is listed in the version-history of the .txt file following your link.
