I bought a lenovo s205 AMD Fusion E-450 a few days ago, installed windows XP on it and the latest drivers...
Now when i close the lid the system hangs or freezes, so the only way to fix it is turning off the Netbook...![]()

I`m not really sure about the power management, looks like the Video Drivers are having issues.
I uninstalled the video catalyst drivers...now my video screen looks with a low resolution, but i can close the screen lid without problems!, then installed again the video drivers and i`m having the same issue

The drivers were downloaded from the lenovo support site, the last version of them
PD: I`m using the AMD VISION E450 Dual Core , last version of the S205

Question:
this is a official support forum from lenovo or not?
Where i can find a fix to my computer?

Ok, that´s all folks, i am going to return the S205 to the shop.
The reason?, i have a semi-functional unit, no support from the technical service and all i had is a waste of time
Next time i will buy a better computer and never again a lenovo. ![]()

I have the same situation. My S205 E Series came with Windows 7 starter, i don`t like that OS so i tried to run my old Windows XP.
After the video drivers were installed, now my laptop freezes when i try to close the screen (or lid)
I tried with newer drivers from AMD, but the situation is still the same.
Please escalate this situation to the lenovo guys, because the windows XP drivers are corrupted
