First of all sorry for my english, i'm italian
In 2 Lenovo S205 (Italian version with 3gb ram & 320gb HD) with Seven HP 64bit, new Bios UEFI version posted in the Lenovo driver page (version 22 release date 27 july 2011) broke the BlueTooth 2.1 on the 2 machine
It is not more detected in system or in printer&dispositives, it is simply disapperaed
With previous version 21 everithig was ok
I make this post hoping someoane Lenovo developer try to see the issue and update new stable and better bios ASAP
The BT was not active at the moment of my bios update but it was saw correctly on system, now is disappeared
I try to go on BIOS setting to activate but bios is realy poor, you can oly set ide or ahci HD and make hd first read on boot, no moro of that![]()
Please Lenovo make a new and better bios asap thanks abd if possible make bios more costumizable
Solved! Go to Solution.

Thanks for your interesting in this ssue
I try all you suggested but suddenly it does nothing
The only detected device is wirelless card, BT stll continue missed, ven after uninstall EnergyMnagement & reinstall, even if i set default value on bios
If i try to install BT drivers it said there is no device on the pc
It's a buggy Bios in the dowload site, they don't try it on a real S205
I hope some lenovo tech watching here and solve asap
In an italian forum about S205 everyone tath update bios is in the same situation, no BT detected, so is not my personal issue, everyone have BT disable at the time of the update

have you tried to activate wireless in bios?
wireless working properly?
i'll contact lenovo staffs about this issue. maybe, as you said, there's something wrong with the bios update and if you're right, they'll publish new bios update asap.

Hi
winphlash wrote a BIOS.BAK save your previous installed BIOS to hdd where flashfolder is located c:\winflash
that gave you the possibity to re-roll your BIOS ...
...if that happen try to flash the previous version download BIOS S205 Vs.21
or when you didnt delete the folder use BIOS.BAK (could be re-named BIOS1.WPH) to re-roll BIOS
Update :
:... have taken a new pic from actual UEFI Winflash program ![]()
if you have set to backup BIOS and flash ..you have the possible backup.. otherwise not ....

to KalvinKlein:
Uh, that's an option try to roll back to the previous bios, I will give it a try, hoping Lenovo will release soon a new Bios working with BT.
Edit: I didnt backpup the last bios...I feel so noob.

...if that happen
try to flash the previous version download here BIOS S205 Vs.21
simply re-flash with the 21 version ..that should be revoke BT back to life ![]()
a german user confirmed that it does ..

It would be nice if you remove a piece of software that breaks the functionality of your hardware from your official download section. Holding software with a known issue on your site is not the way a respected firm should work.
