S205 - screen goes bright and darker when opening applications or scrolling

Hello,

i hope you can help me. Just bought a Lenovo S205 and having the following issue:

When a webpage consists of different colours, e.g. ebay, then when scrolling, the screen will go bright and then slowly dim darker to the original brightness wihthin approx. 5 seconds.

Same when starting an application: screen goe bright and then slowly dims back to the set brightness.

Anyone can help me please? Is this normal? (Overdrive is deactivated, no difference)

there is a  Energymanagement  S205 EM 6.0.16 , newer than factory pre-installed available ,  try this one ...

by the way did you know that you can choose german section of lenovo community

Solved.

Was Catalyst Vari-bright feature accidentially switched on.

(CCC->Powersettings)
