Wires Network Card "off"

Hi. Have been using my ideapad S10-3 at home wirelessly for a few months now, went to a different location and used a LAN connection. Turned off wireless to use it. When I came home the wireless no longer worked. The switch is on and when I hit F5 it says that the current status of the wireless network card is OFF and the status settings are on Looked at previous posts and tried the power management fixes (going to balanced) to no avail Any suggestions?? If I do need to update the wireless card can someone please direct me to a link to do so? Thanks all
