thanks for your time and effort!
i went to the link but as i am a novice i didn't really understand especially because the english is not native.
i did research your idea more on the web but it seems it's not a total language change.
i need all navigation in english so i need to insall an english operating system.
i just don't know how as it doesn't have a disc drive.
can i do it with a usb stick or hd?
if so can anyone let me knw how?
thanks again in advance.

"i need all navigation in English, so I need to install an english operating system."
Well...since you are a novice, I'd say it is better to have a computer shop do the installation.
It is not so difficult for an experienced user, but it does require some expertise,
especially if you do not have an external USB DVD drive.
Have them partition the hard drive so you will have both the English OS and the Japanese OS available.
It will cost the same as wiping out your Japanese OS.
I don't know how you can get the English version of Windows 7 in Japan.
The world is so small now, it should be easy to buy any version from any country.
But I know English Win7 is hard to find here in Taiwan.
Sigh!
Try eBay.com, but make sure the seller will ship international.
Interesting.. You obviously use English very well, but mentioned "because the english is not native".
But why not just use the Japanese OS to read and write in English?

Hi there... thats for XP .... its more difficult to change the whole language... yes i agreed...but
since Vista and now for Windows 7 you can change the language simply by windowsupdate ...
i think minimum Windows 7 Professional, you can choose the language.. easy... once the prefered language is downloaded and installed... its a time of seconds to switch the whole system from language to language...
i do that on the Windows 7 RC1 with german to english & vice versa..
wishes all of you a happy new year 2010 sincerely KalvinKlein
