Same here - have a S205 and trying to figure out how to add a couple of new partitions without breaking things.

I am thinking of shrinking the size of the C partition and then deleting the D logical partition and also deleting the extended partition its inside. Then creating a new bigger extended partition to fill the freed C space as well as D space. Inside this new bigger extended partition then create a logical D partition as well as the other 2 new partitions I want.

I think this would not break the OneKey Recovery functionality.

I'd also like to set up Truecrypt to encrypt the full C drive but then I guess that will stop the OneKey Recovery from working...........still I can use Clonezilla inside to backup/restore the machine's disk in future.

I used the Recovery function to restore Windows XP but when it restarts it states "BOOTMGR IS MISSING"

what do I do to fix that? I have tried several times to restore but still end up with the same problem

if you have dvd-rom, try to use recovery discs.
if you don't, you need to install operation system manually, then run okr again.
also, there are ways to fix bootmgr issue, searching the forum may help you.

I have an IdeaPad s10 and my one key recovery does not work correctly. I have tried useing ptedit32.exe to no avail. When I run this I have 2 types on drive one and 1 type on drive two. Can anyone help me get this computer back to factory settings.

Hi I just brought a refurbished ideapad S103 and when I turn it on it says no operating system and the same thing when I use the OKR button to turn it on is there another way to access the hidden partition if there is one. Thanks in advance

i bought an s205 yesterda (free dos) and have it set up with my old win xp pro.

can i set up okr to work with win xp?

if so, what would i need to do?

make sure you have installed os and if there's hidden partition.
if you don't have one ( freedos ) it's normal that okr doesn't work.
