hi all installing xp need sata driver

hi all can someone send me a link to the exact sata drive i need so when i make a bootale xp disc i can add the sata drivers so i can install xp, this is driving me mad

please help

Hi and welcome, some hints you will get here Windows XP Clean  install .

2 ways to go ... in BIOS with F2 and step to CONFIG Page set SATA AHCI to compatible... or you have to integrate AHCI Driver as descibed....

thanks for your reply up to know i have made 4 xp discs using nlite with different drivers and none of them work, i get the blue screen saying files missing which is the sata driver

i have tried this driver

and i downloaded the driver you suggested but it ius a set up file .exe file so i cannot use this with nlite

i just need the driver to add to nlite when i make a bootable iso of the xp image incorporating the driver i need

this guide is good but the drivers they suggest dont work on my lenovo s12

oh my god i seriously do not believe it, i have been at this for 4 hours and burned many disks using the guide and all i needed to do was use the origonal untouched xp cd and make one change in the bios!!!!!!!!!

im happy now but also p***Beep*** about how much time ive wasted on this
