I have a new s10-3t here that I'm trying to get to boot. I've sucessfully booted it once into the installed windows 7. Now,
1. When I hit power, the hard disk led flashes once and the battery light flashes once and then it just doesn't boot at all. It doesn't even post, the lights just flash once.
2. I've tried taking out the battery, unplugging it, hitting power 10 times and then holding it for 20 seconds. No change.
3. I reseated the RAM, no change.
Is there a way to reset the cmos in these things? A jumper maybe, or something you can short? It's acting almost like a PC does when it's stuck in idle mode.
Help.

I would suggest you to contact support to look into this since yours is a new system

Yeah, I left it unplugged with the battery out overnight and this morning no change. I'm going to just take it back to the store at this point as I've only had it for a day.

Dont send it back to the store just yet! This happened to me too. Same black screen on startup. Just take out and reseat the hard drive. Hope this helps you out!
