s10e wont turn on with battery

hi,

I have a s10e nearly since 2 years, which I used mostly at home without the battery. Since 6 months I have a problem, that often the netbook wont start only with battery. The blue power light lights on for short and a very low noise (hdd ) can be heard but no picture or boot or any lights.

If I plug in the adapter, it makes a beep but  it still doesnt boot. First I have to unplug and remove the battery than plug in power adapter and battery, then the computer can be turned on. After this i can turn off unplug power and then it can start againwith battery.

First I thought my battery is dying but I can still go with the battery 3-4 hours. It doesnt change if the battery is full or half.

try hard reset: remove the battery, unplug the ac power, press power button for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.
