s205 hibernate/sleep freeze

I've got a s205 netbook, 4Gig with win7x64. If I set it to sleep or hibernate on lid down, then when I turn it back on there is a 50:50 chance it will just get 3 leds on and the power button lit up, but it just sits there spinning the fan. I have to hold down the power button to force it off/on and then it usually starts up OK after the thrid or fourth attempt. Really annoying. Any body got any ideas how to fix it? Other than that it works fine.
