My ideapad S205 failed to start today and windows said it could not repair itself. I reinstalled windows using the 4 recovery disks supplied by Lenovo. It took a long time and constantly turned itself off and on at the end as it ran a lenovo test program. Eventually that seemed to exhaust itself and on restarting a message saying that windows is being prepared for first use comes up - shortly after a program called sysprep appears and its purpose seems to be to remove the installation plug ins so thhat windows runs independently. My problem is htat this sysprep program runs for a bit before stopping with a fatal error message so that it can not do its job and each time I turn the machine on , it behaves as though it is being used for the first time. Does anyone know how I can resolve this please?

I understand you are unable to get the Windows desktop.
It seems to be recovery disc issue, if you have not removed the recovery partition then you can try installing Operating System by OneKey Rescue system button which is available near to Power button.
If the issue still persist and the laptop is in warranty then you can contact the support center.
