How to open the SD card slot on the IdeaPad A1 tablet?

Question

How do you get into the SD card slot on the bottom of the A1? Do you just pry it off?

 

Answer

With the A1 tablet facing up, gently pry on the left side of the tab covering the SD card slot. It opens and swings up or down and remains connected on the right side.
