K1- downloaded system update file but it doesn't install (from 3.1 to 3.2.1)

Question

My ideaPad K1 tablet finds the update for 3.2.1 but when it is done downloading, it won't load/open the file. The download file just stays in my download folder. Any idea how to fix this problem?

Answer

You may want to try either of these:

• Turn off  the K1 and turn it back on again to check if there is pop-up window about the update. If there is a pop-up window, you can instruct the system to start installing the update.
   
• Otherwise, delete the downloaded file and re-download it again
