I just noticed a few minutes ago that my new Lenovo Thinkpad Z470 wasn't charging, even though it was plugged in. I checked, and the cord was in correctly. The small indicator light on the AC Adapter module isn't coming on, and I've tried it in multiple outlets. I also tried unplugging the wall cord from the adapter and plugging it back in to be sure it was securely in place, and the problem persists. Any help?

I have two Lenovo laptaps and both AC adapters stopped working within a year. the first one lasted 6 months, the second lasted 12 months.i love the laptops, but would not buy Lenovo products again because of poor workmanship. I spent $100 at Radio Shack on a universal AC adapter.

My lenovo y570s' AC adapter also seems to be faulty. It works fine almost 3 months. Now it needs to be plugged in/out power supply several times to start battery charging. Now I have to carry the notebook to a service center in complete set (although i'm sure that the notebook itself works fine).

Listen up lenovo people there is nothing wrong with your batteries or chargers ,The receptor on the computer where the charger plugs in is broken (worn out)so the sooner you stop this waffle about batteries and chargers the sooner we can get to the real problem There is a major fault with our computers that lenovo will have to address .Just move cord around it will eventually engage ,but is determined to fail altogether (mine) Dennisod
