I bought a ideapad y570 in Chennai, India and Within 4 months of usage my battery gone bad.
I've registered a complaint regarding my poor battery backup issue and the lenovo tech agreed to replace it.
Now it's been about 4 weeks and still they haven't replaced my battery.
I must've called their support more than 7-8 times.
My complaint no is: 4270453235
Laptop model : ideapad y570
Laptop model no: xxxxxxxxxx
Date of Purchase: 2011-10-29
Everytime when I call their support no, they are telling different stories.
First they said that single battery for the lenovo ideapad z570 is not available in entire INDIA(it's pathetic), so they were going to order it from china.
Now they are saying that single battery arrived from china is DOA(Dead On Arrival).
They still dont know what to do and what to say, and i really dont have faith in them.
If you can't arrange for a spare parts, then why do you sell laptops in my country?????
Now I regret the decision of buying a Lenovo. I"m really frustrated with their support.
Can anybody in this forum help me or suggest me some ways to get my battery?

That's what happend to me too with a faulty hard disk replacement in Egypt.
Now it's been about 1 month and a week and still they haven't replaced the faulty hard disk
the laptop is lenovo ideapad z570
no more lenovo from now
no more IdeaBAD
