Boot issue after installing Latest Bios Update(30CN71WW - Version 71) - Y560 [ Edited ]

Hi,

After updating the Bios to the latest version (30CN71WW), Im facing issues with the Laptop.

Most of the time, it will stuckup with the Bios Flash Screen. I need to press and hold the power button for few seconds and turn it off. Then It will stuck up with Windows Loading screen. Again I need to press and hold power button for few seconds. It will load windows correctly on the 3rd attempt. It is happening for few days after updating the bios.

Request your help to resolve the issue.

Note: Laptop is still under warranty.

latest bios is 71. re-flash the bios update.

It is the same verion mentioned in your link

it's not 30cn59ww, the new one is 30cn71ww.

Oops.. I copied the name from the 30CN71WW.txt file in the below page:

It is wrongly mentioned as 30cn59ww instead of 30cn71ww

Admin's please correct it..

Between, I have installed 30CN71WW64.exe only.. (Wrongly mentioned as 30CN59WW in the txt file)

Both the pages are pointing to the same driver page

try to remove/re-seat or swap the ram sticks and/or set default settings for bios.

Still its not working even after re flashing the BIOS and resetting the BIOS settings..

I dont want to risk the warranty by opening the system to swap the ram sticks

flash your latest bios with the previous bios you had on your machine. sometimes when your machine and its OS works fine with its current bios and doesn't have any troubling issues...u don't need to flash its bios.

Hi.. I have the BIOS backup file.. Can you please explain me the procedure to flash with old bios backup?
