Broadcom PXE v2.1 v9.7.8 E61 ERROR [ Edited ]

I have a similar problem. My laptop is lenovo z570 i3 3gb ram 640 gb hdd. I have done chkdsk from dos prompt, completely formatted the HDD and installed a fresh copy of win 7 HB. I still get the problem. any ideas on how to solve it?!

have you tried to flash bios update first?

if it doesn't help, you may have hardware issue possible connector or cable so better to call lenovo support line.

hi yigit. yes i have the current bios version that i updated from the lenovo site! i bought this system frm india and i am in Kathmandu right now where they dont cover my warranty! .
is there like a physical wire that is present that could b loose or it is a connecter that is fused to motherboard! any idea?
just as a side note, from the time i have noticed this issue, my hdd light is almost constantly on and my system performance has gone down a bit!! my average disk queue length is 5, pretty high right!!!

please, check hdd cable if you can.
( if you have to dissemble your computer, due to it voids your warranty, not suggested )

can you also check bios order? make sure the lan network is listed #3rd boot device.

the network boot is the last option on my BIOS.
I opened the cover and removed the hard drive, cudnt c any wires at all. my only guess is that the other end connected to the motherboard mayb. Running out of options and idea

i do. but it is valid only in india where i bought it. not in nepal where i m rite now.

pxe error messages usually point hardware issue ( mainboard ). that's why i was gonna suggest you to contact lenovo support line.
