Hey I was just wondering, can I upgrade my CPU to the new 3rd generation Intel core processors? My laptop is a Z570 with the i7-2630qm CPU, and I want to upgrade it to an i7-3820qm processor because it's faster, and it has Intel hd graphics 4000. I also have other questions; is the Intel hd graphics 3000 integrated into the motherboard of the lenovo Z570 laptop or integrated into the processor? If it's integrated into the processor, will my laptop notice the Intel hd graphics 4000 when I upgrade the CPU? I know upgrading the CPU will void my warranty, but I'm already out of my warranty anyways.

Desktop users are supposed to be able to but I don't know about your laptop. Look here http://www.pcworld.com/article/247108/intel_ivy_br
The graphics are integrated into the cpu. Chances are you won't have to worry about the warranty lol.

From the articles that you've linked, it seems that the cpu is upgradeable. Hopefully, that's right...Thank you!
