I just got a Y580 and reloaded it Windows 7 Profession. I am trying to install all the missing drivers.
I cannot download the Broadcom Bluetooth driver from the Lenovo web site (Broken link).

Is there an alternate web site to download the drivers from ?
I spent 2 hrs on hold with tech support but then was abruptly disconnected.
Seriously disappointed with support from Lenovo

like these drivers?
BTW
What's your opinion on the Y580? I've been waiting a while to hear from an owner.

Here is a link that works for me:
Broadcom Bluetooth Driver v6.5.1.1201

http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/DriversDownLoads/drivers_show.aspx?ID=5564
This link now is downloading something however it cannot extract and says it is corrupt. The details on the driver page says the file is 298 MB, however the file i downloaded is only 81.4 MB.

I actually have the Y480 (14 inch version) - i mis-spelled earlier. I just got a few days ago and i am still trying to get everything set up - i am installing Windows 7 pro from scratch. The biggest pain is finding the drivers. many of the links on the lenovo web site do not seem to work .
The computer came with 1 stuck dead pixel which is disappointing considering i dropped close to $1000 bucks on it. However, the only time i notice it is when it boots up. I will probably just live with it, it took about 3 weeks to get this computer after i ordered it online, so i don't want to go thru that again.
I am impressed with the community support online. Very fast and high quality responses.
Getting used to the smaller keyboard is harder than i expected but i am getting better with it now. Speed wise, it still takes about 60 secs to boot up and be responsive to my keystrokes, so its pretty good, but not quite as fast as i thought it would be. In fairness i am still trying to iron out all the device driver issues i caused by reloading Windows Pro from scratch, so i am hoping once i have it tuned up it will be quicker.
