I can't seem to find the Intel Wireless Display option in my U310. I just purchased it this week. I taught that the Intel Widi is installed in all u310 units. However, when I searched for it, nothing came up, so I downloaded the driver from Lenovo's site. When I tried to install it, it said that "platform is not compatible with Intel Widi or the application is in use."
Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

This seems to be a real problem. I have been researching for weeks for a laptop I can afford with Widi.
I had almost settled on a Lenovo, maybe U310. I have in front of me the technical specs from the website and it is categorical that it has Widi.
But when I go to buy one, the spec summary states that it has a "Lenovo BGN Wireless".
Now, I know from my research that the processor, display and Wifi ALL have to be Intel chips. So, with a Lenovo Wireless card, this presumably means my new laptop would NOT be Widi compatible.
How the heck to buy a lapto from Lenovo that I KNOW will have Widi, please? This is driving me to distraction.
