Hello,
I bought my laptop from Newegg about a month ago. The Z575 features Radeon Dual Graphics. Just today, I've had a strange problem. When I press "Configure Switchable Graphics" on either the right click on the desktop or the icon on the tray, nothing in the "Recent Applications" or "Other Applications" show up.
Refer to this picture for my problem:
Even when I'm running a program that I would preference one graphics card over another, I'm unable to see the program on the list. In fact, no program has ever shown up on the list, nor has any popup occurred, since this problem started occurring.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
If not, is it possible for me to use only my dedicated graphics card? I know both cards work, since the AMD System Monitor still picks up both of their usages. However, I can't find an option for this from Lenovo's BIOS.

Uninstall all the amd graphics and go to the amd website. Select notebook graphics then select the hd 6xxx series. Then install the 12.6 drivers and let me know if that works.

When I installed the 12.6 version of the Catalyst Control Center, my laptop started using the 8-bit motherboard graphics and I get an error message saying "The AMD VISION Engine Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager."
My graphics cards' drivers should be completely up to date.

Did you make sure to install the amd catalyst mobility option? If not try that it is specialized for notebooks.

This just happened to me today. It is imparative that you ONLY use the Lenovo driver for this Laptop. It is the only driver that works, until this happens, I'm going to try the registry. You should re-install the Lenovo drivers from the recovery partition. I'll post back here if I find a confg file/registry key where we can manually add programs.

This problem is not resolved. Games that have already been set work, but I have a new game that is defaulting to the 6520G integrated card.
Question: DId you recently perform a windows update?
Another Question: I use ATI Tray Tools, do you also use them?

***SOLUTION***Don't know if it's conicidence or not but I changed some settings in the AMD Power Play and hit Apply. Then I changed them back and hit apply. Then I went to Switchable graphics and the programs were back! Let me know if this works for you.
