DVD R is not detected

Hi all please help me,

 

DVD R is not detected in my computer and device manager. I only be able to see drive C and D.

Is there anything i can do about it?

Sorry i forgot to mention that my laptop is Y510 with vista home premium 1

Delete CDROM from Device Manager, download this, unpack and run. After reboot drive should appear.

Can you see it in BIOS?
