Dropped my y550 4186 machine and cd/dvd seperated from computer. How do I reinstall?

The drive separated from the computer. The y550 still works so it's not damaged but the drive is out and there is a flat ribbom cable sticking out of the y550. How do I reinstall or is it not possible.

if a laptop is dropped,the possibility of internal damage is likely.

Just because things seem to work,does not mean everything other

than the cd/dvd  is fine.

İ would suggest to send it in to service.

Apart from repairing the cd/dvd

İt should be checked thoroughly.
