GeForce 8600M GTS

Hi i just bought the ideapad y510 with the geforce 8600M GTS and i have never heard of it.  I just would like to know if any of you know how it performs and is it much of a gaming card.  Also what is the difference between this and the 8600M GT?

How do you know you have GTS? Please proofpic , for example GPU-Z.

On the description of the laptop it says system graphics is NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GTS 256MB

Where is the description? I can by myself write the description and say in it that inside is 9800GTX. Please give a picture of a source. Images can be easily uploaded to photobucket.com or imageshack.us

Yes. But I can't locate anywhere else information on 8600M GTS. I suggest it's just 8600M GT with faster videoram. When you recieve i, please take a screenshot of GPU-Z and post here. Thanks in advace. Also, Lenovo presented some models with 8600M GS and imagine surprise of customers when they recieved 8600M GT instead. Later the info on site was corrected.

Hey... it's been a while, i think u should have received your Y51, right?
i also wanna know whether it is a 8600 GTS or jz nothing different than a 8600 GT

Even though the Lenovo website say GTS what the laptop actually ship with is a the GT card.  I should know because I ordered the same model.  That is too bad, because I think the GTS is better than the GT.

Here is some specs from Nvidia's website http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8600.html (note: this is for the regular 8600 series not the 8600M series which laptops are shipped with; however, i assume their naming system applies to the 8600m series as well).

I received my Y510 recently and it is a 8600 GT. I've tested it so far on Battlefield 2142 on the highest settings. SMOOTH AS BUTTER
