SO after just two days of owning the laptop, it already BSOD twice due to the nvidia card and randomly froze and slowed down after that. Its a new computer and shouldn't be having those problems so soon. I love the computer, So they are sending me a new one.
Has anyone had this BSOD happen to them. Do you know what caused it?
I need to know step by step on how to uninstall and install updated nvidia drivers and exactly what to to uninstall. I am a noob at this

So should I uninstall everything that says Nvidia? Do I need to use a file sweeper or anything to make sure all the files are gone?
And has anyone else had their Y570 BSOD? If so, what fixed it?

Hello guys,
I have the same problem. After I bought my laptop next day blue screen appeared, I tought it s some bug, but it kept appearing every few days, when it appears, computer restarts and than grafic card switch doesn't work, and computer can't recognise NVIDIA card...
It runs only on INTEL...
So I went to shop where I bought it, it worked there, but they sent it to service to do stress test, on stress test laptop worked fine, grafic card as well, switch as well, NO blue screens...
Now I brought laptop home, it worked perfectly 2 hours, I instaled new driver of NVIDIA card as some of you said it will solve problems, it worked good some more time, and now it runs only on INTEL, switch doesn't work and BLUE SCREEN appeared again!!!!
I am so mad!!!!
What should I do?!
I think LENOVO should respond, becouse it is obviously seral problem!!!! AAARGGGh ![]()

Yes, What CROliveRR has explained is EXACTLY the same thing I was going through.
It sounds like it could be related to the updated graphics card??

No, it happened before updating drivers, now I read somewhere that new driver update fix is released, so I downloaded it, instaled it, and it happened again... ![]()
I don t know what to do, guys on service probably think I am crazy, but it started working just night before I sent it to service...
So now I brought it home, worked perfectly 2 hours, and now Grafic switch doesn t work again (after getting BSOD)

Before we can determine if it is software or hardware related, you need to get your machine to the same place where others like me who own the Y570 have no problems. Most here at this site who have a Y570 have use that method laid out by zitnikp to get their Y570's running well after having softare issues. If you do as wasposted and you still have problems it's not going to be a driver issue and we can work from there, so just do as was posted and report back.

I did it already, and in last 3 hours it got 3x restarted with blue screen...
Grafic switch doesn t work again... nor the NVIDI-a card....
I was at the service... no help, they did stress test, and couldn t find issues. they got it at the moment when all worked probably, so I ll have to go again there... arrrrrgh! I am really geting crazy
