I'm having a problem where plugging in my headphones doesn't do anything; the audio comes out of the internal speakers no matter what. I don't seem to be having any driver problems, and I haven't messed around with anything that would make this happen. Occasionally if I go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound and restart the speakers it will cut back and forth between the speakers and the headphones, but that isn't working anymore.

I'm guessing that it is, I would download the drivers from lenovo to your desktop, delete them from programs & features, then reboot and install those you put on your desktop and see how they go.

I downloaded the LSC and the Device Manager says MpKsl0bcaa904 is not installed. I can't find that anywhere on the website.

I reinstalled both of the audio drivers from the website, but I have the same problem.

I also have this problem, but, I've been diagnosing it for a while, and my situation is a little different.
Problem started when the right channel went out on the headphones that I use daily with this Lenovo Y560.
I replaced the headphones with a different set to find that the second set also didn't have a right channel.
I suspected the computer, I used both sets of headphones on a second computer, then on a music player, to find that both headsets did not work on the other devices either.
This was wildly unbelievable, that the right channel on both headsets would go out at the same time, yet, that is what happened.
So, I took a third set of headphones (yes, I am an idiot), plugged them into the Lenovo Y560, to find that they did work (both channels) but, was very very low volume. I unplugged the headphones, to check the volume of the internal speakers, then plugged them back in, to find that the 3rd set of headphones don't work in either channel anymore.
Strangly, when I plug external speakers into the Lenovo Y560, they work just fine.
Electrically speaking, I have no idea what could be causing the problem, possibly a DC current that is buring out the headphones.
From a strictly observational standpoint, the headphones were good when they were plugged into the lenovo Y560,and now can not be used on any device. Three different headphones, by three different manufacturers are now unusable..
