How do I know when it is done charging? [ Edited ]

I have a V570, and on my other laptop (a Gateway), the charger light turns blue when the battery is fully charged. With my Lenovo, I haven't noticed any indicator light that tells me when it is finished. I don't see anything about that in the manual, either. Is there some way to tell when it's fiished charging without turning on the computer?

The battery icon LED turns off.

but my lenovo g470 's battery is already 100%, but the battery icon led is still lit up ._.
