How to detach the mousepad buttons?

System: Ideapad Y-550

Problem: Left and right mouse buttons are hard to operate on because of a coffee spill.

 

It's hard to press the mouse buttons.

I want to detach the mouse buttons and clean the surface under them so that the buttons operate freely.

I tried searching the web for any procedure that will guide me on how I could do this, but couldn't find any resource.

Sure, there are some links on how to remove the keyboard (on a Y510) but this wan't relevant.
