Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Y550, and my integrated webcam is not working.I orginally had Windows 64 bit, but I installed Windows 7, and my webcam is not working. I've tried pressing Fn+Esc (I get a message that reads "There is no camera installed on this computer." I've tried reinstalling the "camera" drivers in the D: drive. I've also tried to download the drivers from the Lenovo website. Nothing seems to work. If anyone has any advice as to how I can go about fixing this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

make sure your function keys working, re-install power management, then press fn + esc to activate camera, then install the drivers.
installing drivers manually may also help you if you can't install.
make sure you install correct drivers for 32 or 64 bit.
by the way, is it upgrade or clean installation?

Thanks Yigit, but Fn+f5 turns on/off wifi . I have reinstalled Power management and manually installed the drivers. When I press Fn+Esc it tells me that there is no camera installed.

No that website tells me: "A camera is required for this demonstration."

What do you mean by manually? When I download the drivers from Lenovo, the installation process brings up a window that says "No Matched Device Driver!"

I checked my device manager, and there are no "Unknown devices" shown after I click "Show hidden devices". There aren't any items that have yellow exclamation points either. Any chance that you have any other ideas?
