Those who are affected, could you try to reflash the BIOS 71 and reinstall the energy management to test and see if it helps.

Ok, so it's cristal for me that it is because of the bios....because i am using the ati driver from lenovo drivers..i am not in a game and for example i am havely downloading with utorrent and it stops...it is verry hot hot hot...hot air comming from the left side (the cooler)...now, i want to get my last bios....how can i tell which is the last bios before 71? 

 

P.S: I have last energy management software...i am willing to get my last bios before i can use my lenovo to cook food on it!

rename bios.bak to bios.wph and re-flash it. ( located in c:\bios )

I don't have a bak file saved there...so i will wait for a new bios to fix this...any ideea..you are working on it? ...it is clear that it is problem

The fan is not controlled properly in bios 71 and the notebook shuts down under normal load.

I had to reflash an older bios.

 

Also, from my experience i had my motherboard replaced when using the backup bios.

 

I used bios 71 with several AMD driver, with the original power management software.

This worked.....BIOS 71 it's not good...I went back to 59 and now cooling system works excelent..I can play any game..I can force my processor....

Yes, i didn't change anything but the BIOS.

Installed 71, got heat problems. Restarted in case it was a result of any other things, problem remain. Test the system using some benchmark software, it restarts due to the fan not controlled properly.

 

Reverted to 59, problem is gone.

 

The above was repeated twice. The only variable changed is the BIOS.
