Hello to everybody: Lenovo clients and team.
About one month ago I've got Lenovo Y570 (i7 second generation, 8Gb RAM, 750GB HDD and so on).
Actually I'm happy with this laptop, but here is one very annoying issue - sleep/hibernation troubles.
I've installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate instead of original Windows 7 Home.
Then I've installed all freshest updates for Windows (SP1 and all other till today) and all updates for all hardware (drivers) from lenovo.com
The problems is:
1) Sleep mode - when it happens, if I interrupt it shortly - 5-10 minutes, everything is OK, computer waked up. BUT if stay it for long time - about 20-30 minutes, when I comes back I've meet BSOD with message "something about power". I've dumps, if it's need.
2) Hibernation. Result of every second hibernate is - computer sets screen to OFF state, sometime HDD-led powerfully blinking and then just nothing, computer staying with black screen, all leds on panel still ON, power is still ON and I can't do anything - just to POWER OFF it with press on round power-button.
I've tried all possible solutions - to use any power settings, any modes, hybrid and non-hybrid sleep, all solutions from the internet and my own mind - no success.
Before of Y570 I have owned Y530 and same configuration of Windows 7, etc. - it has no any problems with sleep/hibernate.
Please help me with this?
Thank you for attention ![]()
P.S. Forgot to say! Sometimes when I'm using hibernate - laptop is hibernating, but soon after power off - he is turned ON again (after 1-2 seconds of OFF state). Yes, I've checked everything - set off "Wake up" feature of every device excluded just keyboard, set OFF all possible wake timers and so on.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Is it possible to know version of my BIOS in Windows? Or reboot is only way?
I've downloaded last BIOS from Lenovo-support site in August and when I tried to re-flash BIOS, that program said me: "You are no need to update" or something like this.
